CATHEDRAL ROCK TRAIL:
Pack your hiking daypack for an adventure-filled day trip or relaxing camping trip at Mt. Charleston. Only half an hour outside of Las Vegas, The Cathedral Rock Trail awaits with its rustic mountain charm. Mt. Charleston is also perfect for casual weekend campers who are eager to see the expansive night sky free from the Las Vegas neon lights glow.
GOLDSTRIKE HOT SPRINGS:
Looking for a thrilling hike? Goldstrike Hot Springs Trail is another quick drive from Las Vegas, consisting of fun obstacles with ropes, scrambling, and stunning canyon views. This challenging and thrilling hike eventually leads to natural hot springs where you can take a dip in and relax from the strenuous hike. The end of the trail is the gorgeous Colorado river.
ARIZONA HOT SPRINGS:
Want to rough it a bit more? Check out Arizona Hot Springs, just a few miles down the highway past Goldstrike Hot Springs. This trail also offers some no-frills camping, with very few amenities within the campgrounds next to the Colorado River. The Arizona Hot Springs Trail is quiet with scenic valley views and hot spring baths to soak in. The perfect leisurely day hike.
